Inspiring business leaders to commit to the climate

60-second hero video

We created emotive video content to help increase awareness and prestige of the ‘Committed to Climate’ marks, developed by Trees That Count.

Challenge

Trees That Count, a national initiative to mobilise New Zealanders to plant millions more native trees, came to us for help to promote its new ‘Committed to Climate’ marks. The marks recognise businesses who are committed to mitigating the effects of climate change by funding native trees. How can we create video content that increases awareness and builds prestige of the marks to encourage business leaders to get involved?

Solution

We leaned into emotive storytelling to galvanise our audience. Centred around a spoken manifesto, the narrative of our 60-second hero film draws people into a sense of duty to protect our land through conservation and positions the ‘Committed to Climate’ as a badge of honour. In addition to inspiring nature and tree planting scenes, we also weaved in footage of businesses already committed to the climate to celebrate those doing their part to preserve our environment for future generations.
