Wrestler were tasked with the bold challenge of repositioning the marketing trajectory of the city. Everyone knew flat whites and craft beer were great here, but there's got to be more than that right?
Strategy

Building off the creative and the idea of Wellington being personal, we wanted to create a series of vignettes that listened to Wellingtonians and explored what the city means to them. We also wanted to approach it from a high level category perspective, yet hear individual voices and their unique and personal stories as to why they work here, live here and love it here.

Production

The budget wasn't big, so we had to come up with a way to create a lot of outputs for not a whole lot of cash. Being smart around voice over and re-using Hero imagery saved us a lot and gave us the ability to stretch the content into various outputs.

Creative

It turns out that Wellington is not one thing, it's allure is unique and varied for everyone who lives and visits here. So, why Wellington? It's Personal.
